Improve safety and lower risk
The Pisys Electronic Permit to Work system(‘PTW’) is a cloud-based system for creating and managing Permits to Work across any type of business or work site.
It can be used for all types of hazardous work, such as working at height, confined space entry, hot and cold work, and excavations.
Create your own permit questions and setup your own workflow to closely match your business process. Permits carry a comprehensive set of information plus any required file attachments and an audit trail showing the various stages in the approval process.
An email system keeps everyone informed about the status of permits, and a powerful reminder system ensures that the appropriate people are informed about permits reaching their due dates.
Configurable security allows a high degree of control over access levels and allows selected permits to be restricted to defined companies or individuals within companies. Gain visibility of your workforce: see what contractors are on site and where they are working.
It is cost-effective, and ideal for any organisation requiring a Permit to Work solution that is available quickly, is easy to learn and use, and customizable.

Permit to Work FAQ
A permit to work system is a system used to control high-risk activities. It should allow a person or group of people to carry out a task, at a specific location and time with controls in place to mitigate risk.
Isolations typically involve a mechanical system which protects workers maintaining a piece of equipment - for example a power isolator may be used to ensure that a circuit is safe. A permit to work system should allow recording and reporting of all isolations made.
As you may have guessed, it depends ! If you have a paper-based system it may appear relatively inexpensive to operate, but the hidden costs may be high ( for example you may lose time and introduce risk because paper has to be moved around a worksite). Our Electronic Permit to Work system can cost as little as £5K per annum with full support for a small site.
Permit to work systems (PTWs) are an essential safety measure in many industries, including oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing. They help to ensure that hazardous work is carried out safely and that all necessary precautions are taken to protect workers and the environment. However, PTWs are only effective if they are used correctly. Human... Continue Reading

Unfortunately as with many... Continue Reading
