TAKE CONTROL OF RISK MITIGATION
Pisys Task Risk Manager is a cloud-based tool that will assist you in task based risk management.
A Task based Approach to Risk
The Task Based Risk Management module (TRMS) allows hazards, risks and controls to be associated with job steps, and linked through to the relevant permits. Permits may also be directly created from TRMS
EASY TO USE
Integrated Permit To Work and Risk Assessment
HAZARDS
Hazards associated with the job step can be defined. A risk value can then be input as severity and likelihood associated with the risk pre-mitigation. Controls (which are predefined in the system) are applied to mitigate the risk. Finally we set the post-mitigation likelihood and severity after controls are applied. Key external stakeholders can also be informed at critical points in the process without compromising any confidential data which is being managed internally.
METHOD STATEMENTS
Method Statements can be generated from the job steps entered during the RA or they can be attached as separate files. Any other applicable documentation may also be attached
JOB STEPS
All data relating to risk and hazards can be captured at the worksite and is instantly available for review by HSE management. At the top level an activity can be defined which will then be split into job parts and steps associated with the task.
"Having adopted the Pisys Permit to work system we now have great visibility on all engineering activities."

Frequently Asked Questions
Task Risk Manager supports the permit to work process by ensuring task-level risks are identified and controlled before a permit is issued, Task Risk Manager strengthens PTW decision-making and reduces last-minute safety gaps.
Workflows allow supervisors or HSE managers to review, approve, and validate task risk assessments prior to authorisation of work.
Task Risk Manager enables real-time updates, allowing teams to reassess risks on site if conditions, equipment, or scope of work change during a task.
Task-based risk data can be structured to support RAMS creation, review, and integration with permits. If contractors have their own separate RAMS these can be attached to the permit
By clearly defining task steps, hazards, and controls, the Task Risk Management Module discourages informal changes to scope that could invalidate permits or introduce uncontrolled risk.
Task Risk Manager creates a shared, central view of task-level risk data, improving alignment between site teams, supervisors, and HSE professionals.
Shared hazard libraries, templates, and scoring models within Task Risk Manager promote consistency while still allowing site-specific customisation.
Task risk assessments can be used directly to brief workers, ensuring everyone understands hazards and controls before work begins.

Cyber Essentials Plus Certified
Cyber Essentials Plus helps us guard our organisation against cyber attacks. This is important because vulnerability to basic attacks can mark us out as a target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cyber criminals and others. Certification gives us and our customers peace of mind that our defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks simply because these attacks are exploiting targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials Plus technical controls in place.
ISO 27001 Certified
We strive to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of all systems and data used by Pisys in their delivery of hosted applications to their worldwide client base, protecting these systems and data from all threats, internal and external, deliberate and accidental. To do this, we have deployed an information security management system (‘ISMS’) compliant with the ISO/IEC 27001 information security standard to meet our information security policy. The ISMS will allow compliance with customer contracts, and relevant laws of the UK and any company within which Pisys Ltd operates.
